What should I do if I’ve forgotten my username?
If you’ve forgotten your username, click ‘Forgot username?’ upon login. You’ll be asked to select one of two options to retrieve it: via a link sent to your registered email address or via SMS code sent to your registered phone number.
Via email address
- Select the email option and enter your email address.
- You’ll receive an automated email with a link to the paysafecard website. Follow the link to retrieve your username.
- Go back to the login page and enter your credentials.
In case you don’t receive the email, make sure you’ve entered your correct email address and check your Spam/Junk folders.
Via SMS code
- Select the SMS option and enter your phone number.
- You’ll receive an SMS with a 4-digit verification code. Confirm the code in the respective field to retrieve your username.
- Go back to the login page and enter your credentials.
Keep in mind that there's a limit to the number of SMS codes you can request. If you don't receive the one-time codes, make sure you’ve entered your correct phone number. If you’re using a prepaid phone, check whether you have enough credit to receive text messages. You can also request a new code, however, we recommend allowing a few minutes to pass – keep in mind that only the last SMS code you receive will be valid.
You can also choose to switch your password reset method to email; we'll send the confirmation code via email instead.
As an additional security measure, we may ask you to confirm your date of birth and ZIP code as registered in your myPaysafe.
If you've reached the SMS code limit or can’t reset your username on your own, contact us via the available channel below, and our team will assist you accordingly.
