What does paysafecard offer?
paysafecard offers a cash-to-internet transaction service through a network of 350.000 physical sales outlets (kiosks, post offices, etc.). As prepaid market leader, we are available in more than 28 countries through our card sellers.
Overview
paysafecard is a prepaid voucher, similar to those in the mobile phone sector. Since 330 million Europeans do not have a credit card and many of those who do have one do not like to use it for online transactions, the turnover share of paysafecard is up to 35% of the total turnover volume of our contractual partners. In fact with some merchants, paysafecard ranks number 1 among the online payment methods on offer, depending on country and target group.
With more than 3.500 web shops worldwide, paysafecard stands for secure payment for virtual goods such as online games and Internet telephony. paysafecard offers a well-known brand name and the benefit of no chargebacks. Our success is based on the trust shown to us by our end customers – because we offer fast and secure online payment. paysafecard has none of the daunting obligations associated with a credit card, and users do not have to divulge personal data (protection from identity theft and phishing). That’s why cooperating with paysafecard is a profitable way to increase your turnover quickly and cost-efficiently.
4.
What are the requirements contractual partners must satisfy?
To start the cooperation as soon as possible, you must first fill in and send us the information sheet per email. We can then proceed quickly and send you our test data.
As a member of the British FSA (Financial Services Authority), we have our own e-money license for the EU and are thus responsible for checking our partners. We therefore need you to fill in the information sheet in detail – and send it to us together with partnership agreement and foundation charter (or proof of sole trader status). Thank you for your understanding. A copy of all general managers’ ID cards and a certified bank confirmation will also make the process more efficient.
5.
What are the costs?
There are no monthly fixed fees, only a contractually-agreed mark-up applied to each successful transaction.
The commission structure depends on industry sector and joint turnover. The business model of paysafecard is based on the dense network of sales outlets in Europe, USA and South America.
In the case of direct integration, an installation fee of 2,000 euros excl. sales tax will be charged. Our partner payment service providers (see point 6) offer paysafecard as part of an overall package at cost-efficient installation prices.
6.
When will contractual partners be paid?
The money is transferred at the end of the month with a term of payment of 14 days, since all money has to be collected from our physical sales outlets (post offices, railway stations, kiosks etc.).
7.
How exactly does direct integration work?
1. Send us the completed information sheet. Email us the partnership agreement and foundation charter together with a copy of the ID card of all general managers as well as a certified bank confirmation of the business account.
2. Sign and return the agreement per email.
3. Sending out test data. For details about technical integration, please see section Technical data & facts. Start of technical integration.
4. Internal tests together with our merchant support team, send login details to the local test system once test is complete: techsupport@paysafecard.com. Tests with productive data and approval.
