Password:
You can make sure that other people cannot access your paysafecard by giving it a password. Once a password has been assigned, it must be entered for each and every transaction and cannot subsequently be deleted.

Value:
This value represents the credit balance of your paysafecard when making a purchase.

Serial number: The serial number is a unique identifier for your paysafecard. If you need to contact paysafecard you should always quote this number (but never divulge the PIN code).

PIN code:
The PIN code is the 16-digit secret number that you use to authorise your payments and credit queries. Never tell anyone the PIN code of any paysafecard that has any credit left on it.

Available credit balance: You can check your available credit balance under credit balance overview. This sum is still available to you for transactions.


Clearing:
As soon as you click "Pay" in your webshop's paysafecard payment window, the corresponding sum of money will enter the clearing process from your paysafecard and will be set aside for transfer to the webshop.

If there are exceptional circumstances (e.g. a technical problem) that make it impossible for the webshop to successfully carry out your transaction, then your account will be credited the sum in question Your account is credited automatically, normally within two hours of your transaction. The credited amount is then at your disposal again.
