How can I get a refund of my money from PaysafeCard?

When it comes to getting a refund from PaysafeCard, there are various refund types depending on the product you’ve used and the payment you’ve executed. Here's a breakdown of each scenario and the steps involved:

Refund of my PaysafeCard account balance

If you are unable to withdraw your balance to a bank account by yourself, we can do this on your behalf. Issuing a refund of your PaysafeCard account balance is easy. Simply click the form below and fill in all the requested information. You will need to attach photos of your bank statement and ID, so keep those handy. Refund of 16-digit code (voucher) balance

Depending on your country of residence, you will need to either open our Refund form or use the contact channel below to fill in all the requested information. Enter the number of the 16-digit prepaid code, your personal information (name, e-mail, address), and your banking details. Make sure these are filled in correctly.

Account & Card refund

Account & Card is a PaysafeCard product only available in certain countries. Your Account & Card balance is separate from your PaysafeCard account balance, and can be either sent with SEPA out, or withdrawn with your Account & Card card, or transferred to your Paysafecard balance. If these options aren’t suitable for you, contact us through the form below.

PaysafeCard Mastercard refund

PaysafeCard Mastercard is a prepaid card available in certain countries only. Your PaysafeCard Mastercard balance is separate from your PaysafeCard account balance, and can be either spent, or withdrawn at an ATM. If you do not have access to your balance, contact us, and we will assist you accordingly.

In case you’d like to refund a transaction made with the card to an online shop, please contact the merchant directly to arrange for a refund or cancellation of the payment. Allow some time for the online shop to handle your request. 

Refund from an online shop

Regardless of whether your payment was made with a 16-digit code, your PaysafeCard account balance, PaysafeCard Mastercard or Account & Card card, you will need to contact the shop directly to request a refund of a recent purchase. Every shop has their own policies regarding refunds. Get acquainted with them before completing a purchase. 

Withdrawal to a bank account

Withdrawal to bank account is available in certain countries only. If available for you, you’ll be able to add your bank details from the Settings menu. Then click Withdraw Money and enter the desired amount.

              Payouts from online shops

If the online shop supports payouts to PaysafeCard you may be able to transfer your funds from an online shop directly into your PaysafeCard. Payouts are free, instant, and secure. If you have deposited using myPaysafe, withdrawals can be processed back to your PaysafeCard balance.

If you’ve received payouts (e.g., refunds or winnings) from online merchants directly into your balance, you may be able to transfer these funds to a bank account, using one of the methods listed above. Check the specific merchant’s policies and ensure your PaysafeCard details are linked correctly.

Payments at online shops

PaysafeCard offers a convenient way to pay at online merchants. Simply check whether the online shop accepts PaysafeCard and follow the steps at the checkout. As these transactions cannot be cancelled or reversed, for a refund request, contact the online shop directly.
