Why is my payment declined for data mismatch?

To ensure that your payments are successful, the personal data you provide in the online shop must match those in your myPaysafe.

If an error message indicates a problem in relation to your name and/or date of birth, log in myPaysafe and compare your personal details with those you entered in your online shop account to ensure that they match (you should also check middle names).

If you have used special characters, please replace these as follows:

é -> e 

ñ -> n

ô -> o    

ç -> c     

ÿ -> y     

ă -> a    

ã -> a 

ř -> r

ü -> ue  

ß -> ss

ö -> oe

ä -> ae

If necessary, update the details in your online shop account and retry the payment .

If you require further help when changing your details, contact the customer service of the online shop.
