You can easily upgrade your myPaysafe account status to “Unlimited” by following the steps below:

  1. Make sure that the details you registered in your account match the ones on your photo ID. You can check and, if necessary, edit your personal details by going to the “My details” menu in your account.
  2. Go to the “Limits & Status” menu and click “Upgrade status” to start the verification process.

As a regulated financial institution, we are required to collect some additional information about you, such as your source of wealth or primary intent of use for myPaysafe. You may be asked to confirm this data right after you’ve started the upgrade process. Please make sure the information you provide is correct and up to date.

See our Privacy Notice for more information on how we process your personal data, as well as how you can exercise your rights in relation to your personal information.

Then you'll be asked to select the ID you wish to use for verification. You can choose between passport, ID card, driver’s license, or residence permit, depending on your country of residence. Check out our dedicated FAQ below to find out more about our ID requirements.

Upload ID document

In this step, you can choose to continue the process in our mobile app, take a picture of your document with your device webcam or upload an existing picture from your device.

Note: your file must not exceed 5 MB and can only be submitted in a *.jpg, *.jpeg or *.png format.

Take a selfie

Once you upload your ID, we’ll ask you to submit a selfie (a picture of your face). You can do this either via the webcam of your device or by switching to our mobile app.

As soon as you complete the process, you’ll receive an email confirming the status of your account. In case your document or selfie couldn’t be accepted, you’ll receive an email with further instructions.
