How can I upgrade my account status via IDnow? (Germany)

As a regulated financial institution, we are required to collect some additional information about you, such as your source of wealth or primary intent of use for your PaysafeCard account. You may be asked to confirm this data right after you’ve started the upgrade process. Please make sure the information you provide is correct and up to date.

When you select to upgrade via IDnow, you’ll first be asked to choose the device you wish to use – computer & webcam, or smartphone/tablet:

  • if you select computer & webcam, you’ll need to confirm that your mobile phone number is correct, that you have a working webcam and an ID ready by your side, and that you accept the Terms & Conditions;
  • if you select smartphone/tablet, you’ll see instructions on how to download the IDnow app on your device, along with your Ident-ID, which you’ll need to enter in the app to proceed with the verification.

You will then be asked to take a picture of your photo ID (front and back side if you’re uploading an ID card), as well as a live selfie (picture of your face).

Once the verification is complete, you’ll see the confirmation in your account.

Note: If you exit the process, you can select a different verification method from the “Limits & Status” menu.
