How can I upgrade my Account & Card plan?

You can upgrade from an Account & Card Start Plan to Plus Plan gaining the following additional benefits:

  • A Physical Debit Mastercard (your Virtual Debit Mastercard will remain as well)
  • Lower top-up and currency conversion fees
  • No fees for SEPA outgoing transactions and debit card payments

To upgrade your plan, you must have an active and verified PaysafeCard account, active Account & Card Start Plan, and sufficient balance to cover the yearly subscription fee.

Here’s how to upgrade:

  1. Go to the Account & Card section in your PaysafeCard account.
  2. Press on Upgrade to Plus if you’re using our app or select Account & Card details from the 3-dot menu tab on web and go to My plan.
  3. Review the displayed plan details and select Upgrade.
  4. Check the address details for the delivery of your physical card, update them if needed and proceed.
  5. Review all Check out details and press Pay & upgrade.

The upgrade process may take a few minutes to complete. During this time the Account & Card section in your account will be temporarily locked, but you’ll still able to access other PaysafeCard account functionalities.

Once the upgrade is complete, you’ll regain access to Account & Card dashboard and functionalities again and all fees will be updated according to the Plus Plan package. You’ll retain your virtual card from the Start Plan with the same PAN and status and will see a physical card in ordered status.
