How can I use a mobile wallet for payments?

Copied to clipboard
This article addresses the PaysafeWallet Debit Mastercard®. Information about the PaysafeCard Mastercard® product can be found here.

You can add your Wallet (formerly known as PaysafeWallet) virtual or physical Debit Mastercard® to Google Pay or Apple Pay. This allows you to quickly access and use it via the mobile wallet for online and in-store payments where Mastercard® is accepted. Check our relevant page linked below for instructions on how to add your card to a mobile wallet.

For online purchases, mobile payments are possible wherever you see the Google Pay or Apple Pay logo. For in-store purchases, look for this contactless payment symbol and tap or hold your device near the payment terminal.

Where can I see my payment history?

Mobile payments will appear under your regular Wallet transaction history.

How are mobile payments with the card protected?

Payments from your device using a mobile wallet may require additional authentication such as card PIN, biometrics (i.e., face ID/fingerprint) or phone PIN/Passcode.

Note that ATM withdrawals require PIN authentication, so the virtual card cannot be used for such transactions. You can make an ATM withdrawal via a mobile wallet only if you’ve linked a physical card to it.

What should I do if I lose my device?

Here are a few ways you can protect your card in case of a lost or stolen device:

  • Suspend your lost device through your Google or iCloud account.
  • Log in to the Wallet app using an alternative device to remove your card.
  • Use the Block card toggle button in the Wallet section of your PaysafeCard account to temporarily disable your card. You can enable it again using the same button once security concerns are cleared.
