What should I do if my Debit Mastercard® is lost or stolen?
If your Debit Mastercard® is lost or stolen, prevent any unauthorized transactions by immediately blocking it via the section Account & Card > Debit card details in your PaysafeCard account.
If you don’t have access to your account, you can contact us and report your card as lost or stolen.
What should I do next?
- Stolen card
We strongly advise that you order a card replacement even if you retrieve your stolen card, as there would still be risk of unauthorized transactions being made by someone having copied the stolen card’s number, expiry date and CVV.
- Lost card
After you’ve blocked your card, make sure to double-check all possible places where you may have left it. If you find your card and have no security concerns, you can unblock it again from the Account & Card section. In case your card is still missing, or you find it but are worried someone may have copied its details, you can directly order a replacement.
How to order a replacement?
- Open the section Account & Card in your PaysafeCard account.
- Go to Debit cards > Physical card > Replace your debit card.
- Select the reason why you need a replacement.
- Set your new card PIN.
- Review and update (if needed) your delivery address.
- Check the details summary and press Reorder.
Once you order a replacement card, your old one will be cancelled automatically with no possibility of reactivation.
