Why is my payout from the online shop getting declined?

There are several reasons why your transaction could be declined. Most common errors when making a payout from your account at the merchant to myPaysafe:

  • Technical errors: Try basic troubleshooting like changing your browser or device. Check your network connectivity and internet settings. 
  • myPaysafe email mismatch: You need to use your registered myPaysafe email address in order to complete your payout from the merchant. Make sure to also double-check the spelling. 
  • Webshop transaction failure: This could be due to payment limits or restrictions applied by the online shop. For further information contact the web shop directly.
  • myPaysafe limits reached: You can always check your account limits by logging in and going to the account status menu. For more information check our fees & limits page
  • Wrong user details: Ensure you first name, surname and date of birth are entered correctly in both websites and request the payout again.

Not all online shops support withdrawals to myPaysafe - please check with the specific merchant whether payouts to PaysafeCard are available.
