How can I reset my password?

Copied to clipboard

If you have access to your myPaysafe, you can easily reset your password by following these steps:

  1. Log into your myPaysafe using your current credentials.
  2. On web, navigate to the Security section and click the Edit button next to your password. On the mobile app, go to Profile/Account > Security and Privacy > Change Password.
  3. You'll be asked to confirm your current password and then enter the new one. Make sure to enter the correct new password, as you won't be asked to confirm it.

If you’ve forgotten your password and don’t have access to myPaysafe, follow the steps below:

  1. Upon login, click Forgot your password?
  2. Select one of two options: receive a link to your registered email address or an SMS code to your registered phone number.
  3. If you select the first option, you should confirm your email address and you’ll receive an automated email with a link to log in. Follow the link and enter your new password.
  4. If you select the second option, you should confirm your phone number and you’ll receive a 4-digit verification code via SMS. Confirm the code in your account and set your new password.

Keep in mind that there's a limit to the number of SMS codes you can request. If you don't receive the one-time codes, ensure your phone has coverage and that your phone number is valid and up-to-date. You can also choose to switch your password reset method to email; we'll send the confirmation code via email instead.

As an additional security measure, we may ask you to confirm your date of birth and ZIP code as registered in your myPaysafe.

If you've reached the SMS code limit or can’t reset your password on your own, contact us via the available channel below, and our team will assist you accordingly.
