What is PaysafeCard direct?

PaysafeCard direct is a feature enabling you to directly top up your myPaysafe at a sales outlet. You no longer need to enter the 16-digit code.  It is available for free on both the PaysafeCard app and web browser.

How does it work?

1.    Login to myPaysafe and navigate to PaysafeCard direct.
2.    Select the desired amount and a bar code will be generated immediately.
3.    The cashier needs to select PaysafeCard direct option in the terminal and scan or enter your code manually.
4.    Pay the amount in-store.
5.    The balance will be available on your myPaysafe account in a couple of minutes.
Note: Please keep the transaction confirmation you’ll receive from the sales outlet.

What are the advantages of PaysafeCard direct?

•    Higher top-up amounts available (up to 250 euros), without a top up fee.
•    The 16-digit code can no longer be lost or illegible.

I cannot generate a PaysafeCard direct code? What should I do?

If the button showing the face value of the PaysafeCard direct is inactive (grayed out), and you are unable to generate a barcode, this generally means that you have reached your limits. You need to either upgrade your account, or if it has already been upgraded, spend a part of the available myPaysafe balance. Afterwards, you will be able to generate a new barcode.

I am unable to top-up the code. What should I do?

There are several reasons you may be unable to top-up your 16-digit code.
1.    16-digit code is no longer active: The barcode is active for 90 minutes. If the timeframe has elapsed, you won’t be able to scan the code. If such is the case, generate a new one.
2.    Technical error: Ask the POS representative to manually enter the code. Alternatively, try a different POS.
3.    Barcode already used: Make sure you haven’t used the voucher yet. If unsure, contact our customer service.
4.    Your account has been locked or closed. Please check your account status and try again.
