Why was my physical CVS gift card declined?

CVS has different gift card processors for their physical cards sold in stores.

We accept CVS physical card purchased from a physical CVS Pharmacy store location only. We do not accept CVS e-cards purchased online or physical CVS cards purchased from 3rd party vendor locations.
