paysafecard takes part in Daughters' Day in Vienna

Many young women are still learning "typical female" professions such as hairdresser, sales assistant or beautician. To help combat such clichés and to let young women know that there are plenty of exciting professions open to them, the city of Vienna and the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber launched Daughters' Day in 2002. This gives young women between 11 and 16 the opportunity to visit companies to get an idea of the diversity of jobs and better earning opportunities available. They also have the chance to find out about skilled and technical trades – as well as test their abilities themselves in workshops.

This year paysafecard is taking part for the first time and is offering an exciting glimpse into the world of digital payments, as well as the kinds of jobs available with us. On 24 April 2014, software development experts, SAP specialists and technical project managers can form their first impressions of their possible future work environments. Our participation in the initiative also demonstrates our pro equal opportunities stance for an open society without barriers for dedicated and creative people.

Anyone interested in visiting paysafecard on Daughters' Day can contact Susanne Taschner (s.taschner@paysafecard.com). You do not need to have a relative working at paysafecard to be eligible.
