New in Germany: PIN management with my paysafecard: greater overview and simpler payments

12 January 2012, Vienna – The arrival of paysafecard in 2000 made paying online without a bank account or credit card possible. Since then the prepaid payments method has primarily established itself in the high-growth video games industry as well as for purchasing digital content. Now paysafecard has taken the next step and launched my paysafecard in Germany. This product development continues to allow paysafecard users to pay without a bank account or credit card, but also enables them to benefit from both a greater overview and simple payment process.

It is now possible to register for my paysafecard at www.paysafecard.com. Once registration is complete, 16-digit paysafecard PINs can be added in the my paysafecard area or by text message. Then online payments simply require a username and password to be entered. The balance on all PINs is automatically displayed and can even be checked by text message. Transactions made within the previous six months are always accessible.
"We have, with my paysafecard, kept the product's basic principle of facilitating online payments without the need to enter bank account or credit card details, while also making it even more user-friendly. In addition to the simple payment process of entering a username and password, my paysafecard also provides our customers with an even greater overview of their balance and transactions," says Michael Müller, CEO of paysafecard.com Wertkarten AG.

The option to register for my paysafecard is currently only available for users in Germany. Further information on my paysafecard is available at www.paysafecard.com. Users who wish to continue to pay with paysafecard by entering the 16-digit PIN can do so.
