How to buy an online PIN using MB Way?
Customers in Portugal can use the MB Way mobile payment service to purchase PINs online via the PIN Shop quickly and securely.
How to pay with MB Way?
- Press the ‘Buy online’ button on your PaysafeCard account home screen or go to the section PIN Shop > Buy PaysafeCard online.
- Select PIN amount and MB Way as a payment method.
- Mark if you’d like the purchased PIN amount to be automatically topped up to your PaysafeCard account.
- Accept the applicable T&Cs and press Continue.
- Enter your first and last name, and your MB Way wallet phone number.
- You’ll receive a push notification from MB Way on your mobile device. Open it to select which registered card you wish to pay with and confirm the transaction. You’ll have 4 minutes to complete this after receiving the notification before it expires.
- Enter your 6-digit MB Way PIN to finalize the payment.
Can I pay using another person’s MB Way wallet?
We can only process transfers coming from a mobile wallet in your name. Transfers from third-party wallets will be returned.
What are the limits and fees?
We do not charge a fee for online PIN purchases.

How long does it take to receive my online PIN when paying with MB Way?
To complete your payment smoothly, ensure that:
- Your internet connection is stable.
- Push notifications from MB Way are enabled on your mobile device.
MB Way is an instant payment method however, but transaction confirmation may occasionally be delayed. If this happens, it may take up to 1 full business day to deliver your PIN.
Once ready, we’ll send you email confirmation containing your 16-digit PIN. If you've selected to automatically top up your PaysafeCard account, your balance will be updated as soon as we receive payment confirmation and generate your PIN.
You can also view your purchased PINs via your PaysafeCard transaction history.

Can I cancel my payment?
Online transfers cannot be cancelled once we have received your payment and provided you with an online PIN.
