How do I report suspicious activity with myPaysafe?

Copied to clipboard

As soon as you notice something out of the ordinary (such as a suspicious login or unrecognized payment), you should file a report with us. Below you'll find several types of fraudulent activity and how to act in such instances.

Unauthorized transactions

If you suspect that a payment was made from your myPaysafe balance without your permission, please check if any of the following applies to your case:

  • Have you ever shared your credentials with other people? Note that they may have been saved and used again for recurring payments.
  • Check with the online shops you usually pay at whether you have any active subscriptions that automatically deduct a certain amount from your myPaysafe. If you wish to cancel a subscription, contact the respective online shop directly.
  • The name of an online shop in your transaction history may differ from the name by which the online shop is known to you. Refer to the online shop’s website to see their registered entity name.

If none of the above applies to your case, contact us via the available channel below. To investigate the issue in a timely manner, please make sure to share with us all relevant details.

For emergencies, you can also lock your myPaysafe by using our lock form.

Unauthorized login

If you notice unauthorized login activity, immediately change your password and registered email address. If you don't have access to your myPaysafe, we'll help you to secure your information and money. Simply fill in our lock account form. We'll block your account and contact you with additional steps via email soon.

Suspicious email from paysafecard

Sometimes you may receive communication via email or other channels, claiming to be from paysafecard. If you're not sure it's genuine, download and send or forward the original message via the contact form below and wait for our reply. We aim to review such requests as quickly as possible but sometimes it may take 24-48 hours for us to respond.

paysafecard will never ask you for your credentials via email, phone, or any social media!
