Why do I need to upload my tax ID to myPaysafe?

We are required to collect your tax identification number (tax ID) due to local tax regulations.

This information is usually collected during your registration for myPaysafe. Note that you should provide your own personal tax ID as given to you by your local registry office. If you enter incorrect data, this may create disruptions in the use of our services.

Depending on your country of residence, you may also be asked to confirm your tax ID when purchasing a PaysafeCard voucher or when paying at an online shop.

Where can I find my tax ID?

You can usually find your tax identification number in the notification from your finance office, in your income tax notification or on your employment tax return. For Italian residents, the tax ID is also visible on the Codice Fiscale, Tessera Sanitaria, or the latest versions of official ID cards.
