I can’t scan the QR code with my smartphone. What do I do?
Please check the points below for trouble shooting:
- Only QR codes from partners of Paysafecash are supported and can be scanned with the Paysafecash app.
- You need to grant the Paysafecash app permission to access your camera.
- You should have internet connection. (WLAN or via a mobile internet connection - Roaming charges may be incurred for the mobile data connection, depending on your smartphone contract. Paysafecash has no influence on these charges.)
- The related smartphone must have a working camera.
How does the payment with Paysafecash work for service providers?
- Open your Paysafecash app (Download in App Store {LINK})
- Use the app’s internal scanner to scan the QR/Barcode of your invoice.
- Please check and confirm the data which appears in a form on your display. (Please be aware that you are responsible for the correctness of this data)
- Log into Paysafecash with your credentials or register for Paysafecash, if you don’t have an account yet.
- Go to your nearest payment point and have your QR/Barcode scanned by the salesperson.
- After you paid the payment amount it will be transferred to the payment recipient.
- Please be aware that bill payments can take up to 2 business days until the amount is credited to the payment recipient. You are responsible for the due date of your bills.
